Neal Neuman, VMD
Medical Director
"As a young child I found a stray dog while playing outside and immediately fell in love with her! I brought her home and much to my surprise, my parents let me keep her. I must have been about seven years old at the time. Soon thereafter, Taffy decided to eat a sponge and developed a complete obstruction - vomiting was all that she could do. We took her to our local veterinarian who surgically removed the sponge, but told us that she might not live because she was so weak. I remember sitting with her day and night so that I could hand-feed her small portions of food - I was not about to let her die. When we took Taffy back to the animal hospital for her re-check, she jumped up on the doctor and licked his face. That was when I decided to become a veterinarian and I have never looked back."
"My goal is to have the finest hospital in the area. I am continually upgrading our equipment so that we can have the best diagnostic facility, the safest anesthetic equipment, and the most advanced surgical equipment that can be found anywhere. I insist that all of our veterinarians attend continuing education conferences to stay on the cutting edge of Veterinary medicine and surgery. Equally important to me is that we have a super friendly, well-trained staff to make your visit to our hospital a pleasant experience. I have been here for 45 years and the best part of my day is coming to work and taking care of your pets!"
